Hadith.5135 - Sulayman ibn Dawud Al-Minqari narrated from Hafs ibn Ghiyath who said
I asked Abu Abdullah (as), "Who is responsible for carrying out the legal punishments (hudud) -the ruler or the judge?" Imam (as) replied: "The implementation of the legal punishments belongs to the one who holds the authority of judgment."
5135 - رَوَى سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ اَلْمِنْقَرِيُّ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ مَنْ يُقِيمُ اَلْحُدُودَ اَلسُّلْطَانُ أَوِ اَلْقَاضِي فَقَالَ "إِقَامَةُ اَلْحُدُودِ إِلَى مَنْ إِلَيْهِ اَلْحُكْمُ".
