By this isnad from al-Husayn b. al-Hasan al-Ashqar from Salih b. Abi’l Aswad from his brother from `Abdullah b. al-Hasan b. al-Hasan b. `Ali from his father from his grandfather (as). He said
Whenever a revelation would come down to the Prophet (s) during the day, he would not sleep until he informed `Ali of it. When it would come down to him during the night, he would not awake [for the morning] until he informed `Ali of it.
