My father (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. Ishaq al-Tajir narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Mehran narrated to us from al-Husayn b. Sa`id from al-Husayn b. `Ilwan from Ziyad b. al-Mundhir from Badr b. `Abdullah from Anas b. Malik. He said
I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: The best of deputies, the master of martyrs, and the nearest person to the status of the prophets will come to you through this door. So, `Ali b. Abi Talib (as) entered. The Messenger of Allah (s) said: It is not for me to say this, Aba’l Hasan. You are the master of my Pond, the fulfiller of my covenant, and the one who will represent me in my religion.
). 309 / 10 - حدثنا أبي (رضي الله عنه)، قال حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن إسحاق التاجر، قال: حدثنا علي بن مهران، عن الحسين بن سعيد، عن الحسين بن علوان، عن زياد بن المنذر، عن بدر بن عبد الله، عن أنس بن مالك، قال
سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: يدخل عليكم من هذا الباب خير الاوصياء، وسيد الشهداء، وأدنى الناس منزلة من الانبياء، فدخل علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام)، فقال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): وما لي لا أقول هذا يا أبا الحسن، وأنت صاحب حوضي، والموفي بذمتي، والمؤدي عني ديني (2).
