35. And with the former chains of narration from ‘Ali ibn Mahyzar, from al-Qasim ibn Urwah, from a person, from either of them, peace be upon them, who explained the verse: ’Thus will Allah show them their deeds as heartbreaking anguish for them....’ (2:167). He said
"It is parable of a man who amasses wealth but is averse to spending it in a charitable manner and then he dies, bequeathing it to the others. And the heirs spend the same wealth for good deeds; so the man who originally earned the wealth rises on the Day of Judgement to witness the reward of the good deeds going to someone else’s credit."
35 - وبالإسناد الأول عن علي بن مهزيار، عن القاسم بن عروة، عن رجل، عن أحدهما عليهما السلام في معنى قوله جل وعز: " كذلك يريهم الله أعمالهم حسرات عليهم " قال
الرجل يكسب مالا فيحرم أن يعمل فيه خيرا فيموت، فيرثه غيره، فيعمل فيه عملا صالحا، فيرى الرجل ما كسب حسنات في ميزان غيره.
