Hadith 173

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us from Ibrahim b. Hashim from Muhammad b. Abi Umayr from Zayd al-Shahham from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
A worshiper does not say [the following] seven times per day -- I ask Allah for Paradise, and I seek refuge in Allah from the Fire -- except that the Fire says: "O Lord! Give him refuge from me."
حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، عن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن زيد الشحام، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، قال
ما من عبد يقول كل يوم سبع مرات: أسأل الله الجنة، وأعوذ بالله من النار، إلا قالت النار: يا رب أعذه مني (3).
