Hadith 287

Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn al-Sa`d Abadi narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid from his father from Safwan b. Yahya from Muhammad b. Abi’l Hajhaz from `Ali b. al-Sirri. He said
I heard Aba `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) say: Surely, Allah put the sustenance of the believers in places that he does not expect. This is because, if a servant does not know where to find his sustenance, he increases in his supplications.
6 - حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا علي بن الحسين السعد آبادي، عن أحمد بن محمد بن خالد، عن أبيه، عن صفوان بن يحيى، عن محمد بن أبي الهزهاز، عن علي بن السري، قال
سمعت أبا عبد الله الصادق (عليه السلام) يقول: إن الله عز وجل جعل أرزاق المؤمنين من حيث لم يحتسبوا، وذلك أن العبد إذا لم يعرف وجه رزقه كثر دعاؤه (2).
