Hadith 47

Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Yahya b. `Imran al-Ash`ari narrated to us from Ahmad b. Hilal from `Isa b. `Abdullah from his father from his grandfather from his forefathers. He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever recites qul huwallahu ahad when he goes to bed, Allah will forgive fifty years of his sins.
- حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أحمد بن يحيى بن عمران الاشعري، عن أحمد ابن هلال، عن عيسى بن عبد الله، عن أبيه، عن جده، عن آبائه، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من قرأ (قل هو الله أحد) (2) حين يأخذ مضجعه، غفر الله عز وجل له ذنوب خمسين سنة (3).
