Hadith 596

Ja`far b. `Ali al-Kufi narrated to us. He said: My grandfather al-Hasan b. `Ali narrated to me from his grandfather `Abdullah b. al-Mughira from Isma`il b. Abi Ziyad al-Sha`iri from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers (as). He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: There are two classes of my Nation which, if they are rectified, my Nation is rectified, and if they are corrupted, then my Nation is corrupted: the rulers and the reciters.
11 - حدثنا جعفر بن علي الكوفي، قال: حدثني جدي الحسن بن علي، عن جده عبد الله بن المغيرة، عن إسماعيل بن أبي زياد الشعيري، عن الصادق جعفر ابن محمد، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): صنفان من أمتي إذا صلحا صلحت أمتي، وإذا فسدا فسدت أمتي: الامراء والقراء (2).
