Hadith 54

Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq (rh) narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Hamadani narrated to us. He said
`Ali b. al-Husayn b. `Ali b. Faddal informed us from his father. He said: I heard `Ali b. Musa al-Rida (as) say: Whoever seeks the forgiveness of Allah seventy times in Sha`ban, Allah will forgive his sins, even if they were similar in number to the stars.
2 - حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن محمد الهمداني، قال: أخبرنا علي بن الحسن بن علي بن فضال، عن أبيه، قال
سمعت علي بن موسى الرضا (عليه السلام) يقول: من استغفر الله تبارك وتعالى في شعبان سبعين مرة، غفر الله له ذنوبه ولو كانت مثل عدد النجوم (2).
