Hadith 908
۞
By this isnad from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Aban b. `Uthman from Muhammad b. Sa`id from `Atiyya al-`Awfi from Abi Sa`id al-Khudri from the Prophet (s). He said
Whoever says: “in the name of Allah (bismillah)” when he leaves his house, the two angels say: “You have been guided.” When he says: “there is no ability nor power except by Allah (la hawla wala quwwata illa billah)”, they say: “You have been safeguarded.” When he says: “I rely on Allah (tawakkaltu `alallah)”, they say: “You have been sufficed.” Then, Satan will say: “How could I handle a worshiper who is guided, safeguarded, and sufficed?!”
17 - وبهذا الاسناد، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن أبان بن عثمان، عن محمد بن سعيد، عن عطية العوفي، عن أبي سعيد الخدري، عن النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله)، قال
من قال إذا خرج من بيته: بسم الله، قال الملكان: هديت، فإن قال: لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله، قالا: وقيت، فإن قال: توكلت على الله، قالا: كفيت. فيقول الشيطان: كيف لي بعبد هدي ووقي وكفي! (5).
