Hadith 949
1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from al-Muffadhal b. Salih from Muhammad b. Ali al-Halabi from Zurarah and Hamran from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
“If a servant performs a good deed for the sake of pleasure of Allah and for hereafter and if he includes the pleasure of people in it, he is a polytheist.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْحَلَبِیِّ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ وَ حُمْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
لَوْ أَنَّ عَبْداً عَمِلَ عَمَلًا یَطْلُبُ بِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَهَ فَأَدْخَلَ فِیهِ رِضَی أَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ کَانَ مُشْرِکاً.
