Hadith 621

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Idris from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Musa b. ’Imran from Ali b. al-Hussain b. Ribat from some of his men from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“A believer is counted among virtuous till he is silent. As soon as he speaks, he is included either among good people or bad ones.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ رِبَاطٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
لَا یَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنُ یُکْتَبُ مُحْسِناً مَا دَامَ سَاکِتاً فَإِذَا تَکَلَّمَ کُتِبَ مُحْسِناً أَوْ مُسِیئاً.
