1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah al-Barqi who said it was narrated to us by Abi from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Mazarim who said who said Abu Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“Send salutation of Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) and his progeny before asking for anything from Allah.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ مُرَازِمٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَی النَّبِیَّ ص فَقَالَ یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص إِنِّی جَعَلْتُ ثُلُثَ صَلَاتِی لَکَ فَقَالَ لَهُ خَیْراً فَقَالَ یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص إِنِّی جَعَلْتُ نِصْفَ صَلَاتِی لَکَ فَقَالَ ذَلِکَ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ قَدْ جَعَلْتُ کُلَّ صَلَاتِی لَکَ قَالَ إِذاً یَکْفِیَکَ اللَّهُ مَا أَهَمَّکَ مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْیَاکَ وَ آخِرَتِکَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ أَصْلَحَکَ اللَّهُ کَیْفَ یَجْعَلُ صَلَاتَهُ لَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع لَا یَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَیْئاً إِلَّا بَدَأَ بِالصَّلَاهِ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ.
