Hadith 1048

11. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hussain b. Ali al-Washa from Ahmad b. ’Aidh from Abi Khadija’ from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“Two women cannot sleep together under a single blanket without a partition or a gap between them. If they do so, they should be stopped. If they do not listen, they should be lashed as per Islamic law. If they do it again, they should be lashed again and if they do it the third time, they should be executed.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَائِذٍ عَنْ أَبِی خَدِیجَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
لَیْسَ لِامْرَأَتَیْنِ أَنْ یَبِیتَا فِی لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ إِلَّا أَنْ یَکُونَ بَیْنَهُمَا حَاجِزٌ فَإِنْ فَعَلَتَا نُهِیَتَا عَنْ ذَلِکَ وَ إِنْ وُجِدَتَا بَعْدَ النَّهْیِ جُلِدَتْ کُلُّ وَاحِدَهٍ مِنْهُنَّ حَدّاً حَدّاً فَإِنْ وُجِدَتَا أَیْضاً فِی لِحَافٍ جُلِدَتَا فَإِنْ وُجِدَتَا الثَّالِثَهَ قُتِلَتَا.
