Hadith 984
Hadith.4197 - Muhammad ibn Muslim asked Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), about the meat of horses, beasts of burden, mules, and donkeys. Imam (as) said: "It is permissible, but people find it repugnant."
4197 - وَ سَأَلَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : عَنْ لُحُومِ اَلْخَيْلِ وَ اَلدَّوَابِّ وَ اَلْبِغَالِ وَ اَلْحَمِيرِ فَقَالَ
"حَلاَلٌ وَ لَكِنَّ اَلنَّاسَ يَعَافُونَهَا".
