Hadith.2465 - Isma‘il ibn Abi Ziyad narrated with his chain of transmission that the
Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon him and his family) said:
"A mount has certain rights upon its owner:
- Begin by feeding it when you dismount.
- Offer it water when you pass by a source.
- Do not strike its face, for it glorifies its Lord (azj) with praise.
- Do not remain seated on its back except in the way of Allah (swt), the Mighty and Glorious.
- Do not burden it beyond its capacity.
Do not compel it to walk more than it can endure."
