Hadith 206

Hadith.1777 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said:
"If a person faces a calamity or hardship, let him fast, for Allah (swt), the Almighty, says: "And seek help through patience and prayer" (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45)
1777 - وَ قَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «إِذَا نَزَلَتْ بِالرَّجُلِ اَلنَّازِلَةُ أَوِ اَلشِّدَّةُ فَلْيَصُمْ فَإِنَّ اَللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ:
« وَ اِسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَ اَلصَّلاٰةِ » »
