Hadith 129

Hadith.1724 - Mu'awiyah ibn Ammar narrated from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as)
"Whoever gives water in a place where water is available is like one who frees a slave. And whoever gives water in a place where water is not available is like one who revives a soul. And whoever revives a soul, it is as though they have revived all of humanity."
1724 - وَ رَوَى مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«مَنْ سَقَى اَلْمَاءَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ يُوجَدُ فِيهِ اَلْمَاءُ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً وَ مَنْ سَقَى اَلْمَاءَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ لاَ يُوجَدُ فِيهِ اَلْمَاءُ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَحْيَا نَفْساً وَ مَنْ أَحْيَا نَفْساً «فَكَأَنَّمٰا أَحْيَا اَلنّٰاسَ جَمِيعاً » »
