I said to Ali bin Hussain, peace be upon them both: Which of acts is better? He said: The arriving and departing thing. I said: And what is the arriving and departing thing? He said: To open the Qur’an and seal it; whenever one arrives at its first, one departs at its end. Moreover, the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said: The one to whom Allah gives the Qur’an, and who then sees that someone was given something better than what he was given, then certainly, he has belittled a great thing and magnified a small thing.
