Hadith 608

12. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā Al-‘Aťťār, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, from ‘Amr ibn Thābit, from his father, who said
Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Allāh, the Exalted, created, blessed, and sanctified Karbalā twenty-four thousand years before He created the Ka’bah. Therefore, it was blessed and sanctified before the creation of any created being and it will remain this way. And Allāh will make it the best land in Paradise.
12 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ره عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَتِّيلٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
خَرَجَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (ع) يَسِيرُ بِالنَّاسِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ مِنْ كَرْبَلَاءَ عَلَى مَسِيرَةِ مِيلٍ أَوْ مِيلَيْنِ- تَقَدَّمَ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ حَتَّى صَارَ بِمَصَارِعِ الشُّهَدَاءِ ثُمَّ قَالَ قُبِضَ فِيهَا مِائَتَا نَبِيٍّ وَ مِائَتَا وَصِيٍّ وَ مِائَتَا سِبْطٍ كُلُّهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ بِأَتْبَاعِهِمْ فَطَافَ بِهَا عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ خَارِجاً رِجْلُهُ مِنَ الرِّكَابِ فَأَنْشَأَ يَقُولُ مُنَاخُ رِكَابٍ وَ مَصَارِعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ لَا يَسْبِقُهُمْ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَهُمْ وَ لَا يَلْحَقُهُمْ مَنْ أَتَى بَعْدَهُمْ
