5. Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Ya’qūb narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ḥasan ibn Faďďāl, from ‘Abbās ibn ‘Āmir, from Abī Nāb Ḥasan ibn ‘Aťiyyāh, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) about performing Ghusl when going to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). Imam (a.s.) replied, “Performing Ghusl is not obligatory.”
