Hadith 259

8. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd narrated to me from Salamah, from Ya’qūb ibn Yazīd, from Ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from Bakr ibn Muḥammad, from Fuďayl ibn Yasār, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The sins of whoever cries, even as little as (the width of) the wing of a fly, when we are mentioned in front of him will be forgiven, even if his sins are greater than the scum in the sea. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh, from his father, from Aḥmad ibn Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Barqi, from his father, from Bakr ibn Muḥammad, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).
8 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
مَنْ ذُكِرْنَا عِنْدَهُ فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ وَ لَوْ مِثْلَ جَنَاحِ بَعُوضَةٍ [الذُّبَابِ] غُفِرَ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَ لَوْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مِثْلَهُ
