Hadith 256

5. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali, from Ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from ‘Ali ibn Mughīrah, from Abī ‘Umārah Al-Munshid, who said
Whenever Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) was mentioned in front of Abī ‘Abdillāh, Ja’far ibn Muḥammad (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) during the day, he would not be seen smiling on that day until nightfall.
5 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَارَةَ الْمُنْشِدِ قَالَ
مَا ذُكِرَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ (ع) عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ (ع) فِي يَوْمٍ قَطُّ فَرُئِيَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ مُتَبَسِّماً قَطُّ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ
