Hadith 106
۞
15. My father narrated to me from Ḥasan ibn Mattīl, from ‘Imrān ibn Mūsā, from Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Jāmūrāni Al-Rāzi, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Abī Ḥamzah, from Sayf ibn ‘Amīrah, from Sandal, from Hārūn ibn Khārijah, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: If the water of the Euphrates (River) is the first thing that is given to a newborn baby and if the baby drinks it, he will be among those who love us because the Euphrates River is a believer.
15 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَتِّيلٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَامُورَانِيِّ الرَّازِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مَا أَحَدٌ يَشْرَبُ مِنْ مَاءِ الْفُرَاتِ وَ يُحَنَّكُ بِهِ إِذَا وُلِدَ إِلَّا أَحَبَّنَا لِأَنَّ الْفُرَاتَ نَهَرٌ مُؤْمِنٌ
