4-113 Muhammad ibn al-Hassan - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Idris quoted Muhammad ibn Ahmad, on the authority of Al-Sayyari, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Aslam, on the authority of Nooh ibn Shoayb al-Neishaboory, on the authority of Abdul Aziz ibn al-Mohtadi who linked it up through a chain of narrators to Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB)
“Four things will moderate digestion: Syrian pomegranates, cooked unripe dates; viola; and chicory.”
4-113 حدثنا محمد بن الحسن رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا أحمد بن إدريس، عن محمد بن أحمد، [عن] السياري، عن محمد بن أسلم، عن نوح بن شعيب النيسابوري، عن عبدالعزيز بن المهتدي يرفعه إلى أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال
أربعة يعدلن الطبايع، الرمان السوراني، والبسر المطبوخ، والبنفسج، والهندبا
