Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about marking the animals. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful except their faces.’” أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ سِمَةِ الْمَوَاشِي فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهَا إِلَّا فِي الْوُجُوهِ .
