Hadith 2261

3. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab who has said the following
“I once was with abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), in the company of abu Basir. I heard abu ‘Abd Allah, saying, ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said that good perfume strengthens the heart and increases the ability to go to bed with one’s wife.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رِئَابٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ أَنَا مَعَ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ فَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِنَّ الرِّيحَ الطَّيِّبَةَ تَشُدُّ الْقَلْبَ وَ تَزِيدُ فِي الْجِمَاعِ .
