7. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from ‘ Abd Allah ibn Jundab from Sufyan ibn al- Simt who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once said to me, ‘When a child becomes four months old then perform cupping every month in the depression in the back of the child; it reduces his saliva and the temperature from his head.’”
