Hadith 2022

17. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Safwan who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘They evaluated the ring of abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and my father bought it for seven.’ I then asked, ‘Was it seven dirham?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It was seven dinars.’”
سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَوَّمُوا خَاتَمَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَأَخَذَهُ أَبِي مِنْهُمْ بِسَبْعَةٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ بِسَبْعَةِ دَرَاهِمَ قَالَ بِسَبْعَةِ دَنَانِيرَ .
