Hadith 1939
۞
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘ Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“About the meaning of the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, . . and cleanse your clothes’, (74:4) abu £ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It means lift up (cut short) your clothes (instead of dragging them on the ground).”’
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى وَ ثِيابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ قَالَ
فَشَمِّرْ .
