Hadith 1597

4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Hassan from Musa ibn Bakr from certain persons of our people who have said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Do not drink water excessively, it is the substance of every illness.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
لَا تُكْثِرْ مِنْ شُرْبِ الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ مَادَّةٌ لِكُلِّ دَاءٍ .
