Hadith 1546

4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from al-Hassan ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn Sinan from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘You must eat turnips and continue to do so. You must keep it a secret except from its people; all people have a vein of leprosy so you must dissolve it with turnips.’”
عَنْهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّلْجَمِ فَكُلُوهُ وَ أَدِيمُوا أَكْلَهُ وَ اكْتُمُوهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَهْلِهِ فَمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَ بِهِ عِرْقٌ مِنَ الْجُذَامِ فَأَذِيبُوهُ بِأَكْلِهِ .
