Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), liked al- Badharuj (sweet basil).’” مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( صلوات الله عليه ) يُعْجِبُهُ الْبَاذَرُوجُ .
