Hadith 1454

12. Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bandar has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hamadaniy from Sa‘id al-Raqqam from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Eat pomegranate with its flesh; it tans (cleans) the stomach and increases the brain’s ability.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُنْدَارَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْهَمَذَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الرَّقَّامِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ كُلُوا الرُّمَّانَ بِشَحْمِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يَدْبُغُ الْمَعِدَةَ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الذِّهْنِ .
