3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Abi ‘Abdillah from his father from Fadhalah bin Ayyub from ‘Umar bin Aban al-Kalbi who has said the following
“I once heard Aba Ja‘far, and Aba ‘Abdillah AS, saying, ‘No other fruit on earth was as much desirable to the Messenger of Allah SAW, as pomegranate and by Allah, he [the Messenger of Allah] preferred to not share it with anyone.’”
