Hadith 1295

2. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn Salim from Ahmad ibn al-Nadr from ‘Umar ibn abu Hasnah al-Jammal who has said the following
“I once complained before abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about not having any children. He (the Imam) said, ‘Ask forgiveness from Allah and eat eggs with onion.”’
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسْنَةَ الْجَمَّالِ قَالَ
شَكَوْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قِلَّةَ الْوَلَدِ فَقَالَ لِي اسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ وَ كُلِ الْبَيْضَ بِالْبَصَلِ .
