Hadith 1082
۞
1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from Muhammad ibn Ali from Ali ibn Asbat from Ya’qub ibn Salim from al-Muthanna’ who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said Ya’qub (a.s.), had an announcer who every morning announced from his house to three miles, ‘Those who want lunch can come to the house of Ya’qub.’ In the evening the announcement said, ’Those who want dinner can come to the house of Ya’qub.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
إِنَّ يَعْقُوبَ ( عليه السلام ) كَانَ لَهُ مُنَادٍ يُنَادِي كُلَّ غَدَاةٍ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ عَلَى فَرْسَخٍ أَلَا مَنْ أَرَادَ الْغَدَاءَ فَلْيَأْتِ إِلَى مَنْزِلِ يَعْقُوبَ وَ إِذَا أَمْسَى يُنَادِي أَلَا مَنْ أَرَادَ الْعَشَاءَ فَلْيَأْتِ إِلَى مَنْزِلِ يَعْقُوبَ .
