Hadith 1963

2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from his uncle Ya’qub ibn Salim in a marfu’ manner who has said the following
“‘Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘You must not teach your women Surah Yusuf and do not read it for them; in it there is sedition, instead teach them Surah Nur because in it there are exhortations.’”
2- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) لا تُعَلِّمُوا نِسَاءَكُمْ سُورَةَ يُوسُفَ وَلا تُقْرِءُوهُنَّ إِيَّاهَا فَإِنَّ فِيهَا الْفِتَنَ وَعَلِّمُوهُنَّ سُورَةَ النُّورِ فَإِنَّ فِيهَا الْمَوَاعِظَ.
