“Once the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, was sitting that a nude woman came until she stood right in front of him and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I have sinned, so cleanse me.’ He (the narrator) has said that after her a man came running and threw a cloth on her. He (the Messenger of Allah) asked about the relation between the two of them.’ He replied, ‘She is my companion (wife), O Messenger of Allah. I went to bed with my slave-girl, and then she did what you have seen.’ He (the Messenger of Allah) then said, ‘The egotistic, or jealous cannot distinguish between the top and the bottom of the valley.’”
