Hadith 1386

6. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn Ya’qub from Marwan ibn Muslim from al-Husayn ibn Musa al- Hannat that Fudayl ibn Yasar said
"I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as), about the case of the sister of my wife who is of the same belief as we are; but in Basra very few people believe as we do; if we can give her in marriage to those who do not believe as we do?". He (the Imam) said: "No, it is not a bounty or honor. Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, says, “You must not return them to unbelievers; they (women) are not lawful for them (unbelievers) and they are not lawful for them (women).” (60:10)
6- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْحَنَّاطِ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) إِنَّ لامْرَأَتِي أُخْتاً عَارِفَةً عَلَى رَأْيِنَا وَلَيْسَ عَلَى رَأْيِنَا بِالْبَصْرَةِ إِلا قَلِيلٌ فَأُزَوِّجُهَا مِمَّنْ لا يَرَى رَأْيَهَا قَالَ لا وَلا نِعْمَةَ [وَلا كَرَامَةَ] إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ فَلا تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ لا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَهُمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحِلُّونَ لَهُنَّ.
