Hadith 1269

57. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn al-Nu’man from Artat ibn Habib from abu Maryam al-Ansariy who has said the following
“I once heard Ja’far ibn Muhammad (a.s.), saying that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, said, ‘O Ali, instruct your women not to perform Salat (prayer) without having dressed well and not to use a necklace which is made of skin.’”
57- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ أَرْطَاةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ الأنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ (عَلَيْهِما السَّلام) يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) يَا عَلِيُّ مُرْ نِسَاءَكَ لا يُصَلِّينَ عُطُلا وَلَوْ يُعَلِّقْنَ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِنَّ سَيْراً.
