a man came to the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I do not have the means to get married and I complain before you against living unmarried/ He (the Messenger of Allah), said, ‘Allow the hairs of your body to grow long and continue fasting/ He did as was told to do and the urge to satisfy his sexual desire vanished.”’
