“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, I may take Ghusl (bath) in the toilet area which is for urinating and I wear sandals which are made in Sind.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘If the water which flows over your body reaches the bottom of your feet then it is not necessary to wash your feet.’”
