Hadith 2116

5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and Sahl ibn Ziyad from Mansur ibn al- ‘Abbas from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Sarriy from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“The first thing that was revealed to the Messenger of Allah was, ‘(I begin) in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Read in the name of your Lord . . .’ (Chapter 96) and the last thing was, ‘When support comes from Allah. . . (Chapter 110)
5ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
أَوَّلُ مَا نَزَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) بِسْمِ الله الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ وَآخِرُهُ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ الله.
