۞
21. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) in a marfu ’ manner from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who instructed his brother ‘Abd Allah ibn Ali with following supplication
“O Lord, raise the degree of my knowledge upwards, do not allow any enemy or envier to become covetous of me, protect me standing, sitting, awake or sleeping. O Lord, forgive me, favor me, guide me to Y our straight path, save me from the heat of hell, shake off of me my liabilities and sins and make me of the best of best of the world.”
21 - وعنه، رفعه إلى أبي جعفر (عليه السلام) أنه علم أخاه عبد الله بن علي هذا الدعاء
" اللهم ارفع ظني صاعدا ولا تطمع في عدوا ولا حاسدا واحفظني قائما و قاعدا ويقظانا وراقدا، اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني واهدني سبيلك الأقوم وقني حر جهنم واحطط عني المغرم والمأثم واجعلني من خير خيار العالم (2) ".
