Hadith 477
1. From the previous chain from Sayf b. ’Umayra from Mansur b. Hazim from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who offers five times prayer daily but does not recite Surah Tauheed would be told, ‘O servant of Allah! You are not a reciter of Salaat’?”
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ مَضَی بِهِ یَوْمٌ وَاحِدٌ فَصَلَّی فِیهِ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ وَ لَمْ یَقْرَأْ فِیهَا بِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ قِیلَ لَهُ یَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ لَسْتَ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّینَ.

Hadith 478
2. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from Abi Abdillah from Ishaq b. Ammar from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who dies on Friday without having recited Surah Tauheed has died having faith on the religion of Abu Lahab.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ مَضَتْ لَهُ جُمْعَهٌ وَ لَمْ یَقْرَأْ فِیهَا بِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ثُمَّ مَاتَ مَاتَ عَلَی دِینِ أَبِی لَهَبٍ.

Hadith 479
3. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sandal from Harun b. Kharija from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who is involved in some sort of disease or problem and dies without reciting Surah Tauheed is condemned to Hell.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ خَارِجَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ أَصَابَهُ مَرَضٌ أَوْ شِدَّهٌ وَ لَمْ یَقْرَأْ فِی مَرَضِهِ أَوْ شِدَّتِهِ بِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ثُمَّ مَاتَ فِی مَرَضِهِ أَوْ فِی تِلْکَ الشِّدَّهِ الَّتِی نَزَلَتْ بِهِ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ.

Hadith 480
4. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sayf b. ’Umayra from Ibn [Abi] Bakr al-Hadhrami from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who has faith on Allah and the Day of Judgment it is necessary for him to recite Surah Tauheed in his obligatory prayers. If a person does so Allah will grant him goodness in this world and the hereafter and will forgive him, his parents and his children.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ ابن [أَبِی] بَکْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ کانَ یُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَ الْیَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا یَدَعْ أَنْ یَقْرَأَ فِی دُبُرِ الْفَرِیضَهِ بِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا جَمَعَ اللَّهُ لَهُ خَیْرَ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ وَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ وَ لِوَالِدَیْهِ وَ مَا وَلَدَ.

Hadith 481
5. It is narrated from Amirul Momineen (a.s.) that the
Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “One who recites Surah Tauheed a hundred times before going to bed, Allah will forgive sins committed by him in the past fifty years.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ عِیسَی بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ قَرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ مِائَهَ مَرَّهٍ حِینَ یَأْخُذُ مَضْجَعَهُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ذُنُوبَ خَمْسِینَ سَنَهً.

Hadith 482
6. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ibrahim b. Hashim from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Ja’far b. Muhammad from his father (a.s.) who said
“His funeral prayer was attended by ninety thousand angels accompanied by Jibraeel (a.s.). I asked Jibraeel (a.s.), ‘Why did you people attend this funeral prayer?’ Jibraeel (a.s.) replied, ‘He used to recite Surah Tauheed while standing or sitting, riding or walking and while coming and going’.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ
إِنَّ النَّبِیَّ ص صَلَّی عَلَی سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ وَافَی مِنَ الْمَلَائِکَهِ تِسْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَکٍ وَ فِیهِمْ جَبْرَئِیلُ ع یُصَلُّونَ عَلَیْهِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ یَا جَبْرَئِیلُ بِمَا اسْتَحَقَّ صَلَاتَکَ عَلَیْهِ فَقَالَ بِقِرَاءَهِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ قَائِماً وَ قَاعِداً وَ رَاکِباً وَ مَاشِیاً وَ ذَاهِباً وَ جَائِیاً.

Hadith 483
7. And from the previous chain from Abi al-Hassan from Aban b. Uthman from Qays b. al-Rabee’ from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who recites Surah Tauheed eleven times before going to bed Allah will protect his house along with all the neighboring houses.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ قَیْسِ بْنِ الرَّبِیعِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ آوَی إِلَی فِرَاشِهِ فَقَرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ إِحْدَی عَشْرَهَ مَرَّهً حَفِظَهُ اللَّهُ فِی دَارِهِ وَ فِی دُوَیْرَاتٍ حَوْلَهُ.

Hadith 484
8. Amirul Momineen (a.s.) said, “One who recites Surah Qul huwallaahu ah’ad eleven times after Morning Prayer won’t commit any sin during that day even if the Satan tries hard. In this way, the Satan will be disgraced.”
حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ النَّهْدِیِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ فُضَیْلِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِی رَجُلٌ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ جَهْمٍ الزَّیَّاتِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَیٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ قَرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ إِحْدَی عَشْرَهَ مَرَّهً فِی دُبُرِ الْفَجْرِ لَمْ یَتْبَعْهُ فِی ذَلِکَ الْیَوْمِ ذَنْبٌ وَ إِنْ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ الشَّیْطَانِ.

Hadith 485
9. Imam Musa Kadhim (a.s.) said, “One who recites Surah Tauheed before meeting an unjust person, Allah will protect him from all sides and he will remain safe from the mischief of that unjust person. He will benefit from meeting that unjust person. Whenever you develop fear of something, recite a hundred verses of the Holy Quran and say, ‘O Allah! Take this calamity away from me’ thrice.”
أَبِی ره عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ جَهْمٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ مرزم [مِهْزَمٍ] عَنْ رَجُلٍ
سَمِعَ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ قَدَّمَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ بَیْنَهُ وَ بَیْنَ جَبَّارٍ مَنَعَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِقِرَاءَتِهِ بَیْنَ یَدَیْهِ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَ عَنْ یَمِینِهِ وَ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ فَإِذَا فَعَلَ ذَلِکَ رَزَقَهُ اللَّهُ خَیْرَهُ وَ مَنَعَهُ شَرَّهُ وَ قَالَ إِذَا خِفْتَ أَحَداً فَاقْرَأْ مِائَهَ آیَهٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ حَیْثُ شِئْتَ ثُمَّ قال [قُلْ] اللَّهُمَّ اکْشِفْ عَنِّی الْبَلَاءَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ.

Hadith 486
10. Abi (rah) from Muhammad b. Yahya al-’Attar from Muhammad b. Ahmad from al-Hassan b. Ali b. Abi Uthman from a man from Hafs b. Ghiyath who said
“O Hafs! One from our Shias who dies without having a good knowledge of recitation of the Holy Quran, is taught the Holy Quran in grave so that Allah grants him great ranks. Know that the levels of Paradise are equal to the number of verses in the Holy Quran. A reciter of the Holy Quran is told over there, ‘Recite a verse of the Holy Quran and go to the next level’.”
أَبِی ره عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی عُثْمَانَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِیَاثٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ لِلرَّجُلِ أَ تُحِبُّ الْبَقَاءَ فِی الدُّنْیَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَ لِمَ قَالَ لِقِرَاءَهِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ فَسَکَتَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ مِنْ بَعْدِ سَاعَهٍ یَا حَفْصُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أَوْلِیَائِنَا وَ شِیعَتِنَا وَ لَمْ یُحْسِنِ الْقُرْآنَ عُلِّمَ فِی قَبْرِهِ لِیَرْفَعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ دَرَجَتَهُ فَإِنَّ دَرَجَاتِ الْجَنَّهِ عَلَی قَدْرِ عَدَدِ آیَاتِ الْقُرْآنِ فَیُقَالُ لِقَارِئِ الْقُرْآنِ اقْرَأْ وَ ارْقَ.
