Hadith 163

1. The narrator says that he heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) say, “Leave laziness aside for your Lord is Merciful. He considers even a small deed of yours. A person who offers even a two rakat Salaat for the pleasure of Allah, He will make him enter Paradise for that. One who gives one dirham as Sadaqah seeking the pleasure of Allah, He would make him enter Paradise for that. One who fasts for a single day seeking the pleasure of Allah, He would make him enter Paradise for that.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ یَسَارٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ إِیَّاکُمْ وَ الْکَسَلَ إِنَّ رَبَّکُمْ رَحِیمٌ یَشْکُرُ الْقَلِیلَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَیُصَلِّی الرَّکْعَتَیْنِ تَطَوُّعاً یُرِیدُ بِهِمَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَیُدْخِلُهُ اللَّهُ بِهِمَا الْجَنَّهَ وَ إِنَّهُ لَیَتَصَدَّقُ بِالدِّرْهَمِ تَطَوُّعاً یُرِیدُ بِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَیُدْخِلُهُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْجَنَّهَ وَ إِنَّهُ لَیَصُومُ الْیَوْمَ تَطَوُّعاً یُرِیدُ بِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَی فَیُدْخِلُهُ بِهِ الْجَنَّهَ.
