Hadith 1787
195. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, passed beside a dump of rubbish full of filth and remarked: This is what the misers used to be niggardly about.
١٩٥. وَقَالَ (عليه ‏السلام) وَقَدْ مَرَّ بِقَذَرٍ عَلَى مَزْبَلَةٍ: هَذَا مَا بَخِلَ بِهِ الْبَاخِلُونَ.

In another tradition it is related that he said
This is what you used to dispute with each other about until yesterday!
وَرُوِيَ فِي خَبَرٍ آخَرَ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: هَذَا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَتَنَافَسُونَ فِيهِ بِالْأَمْسِ!
