Hadith 81

Hadith.5048 - In the narration of Hisham and Hafṣ ibn Al-Bukhturi, it is reported that a group of women entered upon Abu Abdullah (as), and one of the women asked him about lesbianism (Al-sahaq).
Imam (as) replied: "Its punishment is the same as that of the adulterer (Al-zani)."
A woman then said
"But Allah (swt) has not mentioned that in the Qur'an."
Imam (as) replied: "Indeed, He (swt) has."
She asked: "Where is it mentioned?"
Imam (as) said: "They are the people of Al-Rass (Ashab Al-Rass)."
5048 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ هِشَامٍ وَ حَفْصِ بْنِ اَلْبَخْتَرِيِّ
أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ نِسْوَةٌ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فَسَأَلَتْهُ اِمْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ عَنِ اَلسَّحْقِ فَقَالَ "حَدُّهَا حَدُّ اَلزَّانِي" فَقَالَتِ اِمْرَأَةٌ مَا ذَكَرَ اَللَّهُ ذَلِكَ فِي اَلْقُرْآنِ فَقَالَ "بَلَى" فَقَالَتْ أَيْنَ هُوَ قَالَ "هُنَّ أَصْحَابُ اَلرَّسِّ ".
