Hadith 791
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu 5 minin has said, ‘The birds which have full control over their wings, belong to whoever catches them and they are lawful for them . 555
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ الطَّيْرَ إِذَا مَلَكَ جَنَاحَيْهِ فَهُوَ صَيْدٌ وَ هُوَ حَلَالٌ لِمَنْ أَخَذَهُ .

Hadith 792
6. Through the same chain of narrators as that of the previous Hadith the following is narrated
“About a man who sees a bird and follows it until it sits on a tree and another man comes and takes it, ’Amir al-Mu 5 minin (a.s.), has said, ‘For an eye is what it has seen and for hands is what they catch 5 ”
وَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ فِي رَجُلٍ أَبْصَرَ طَائِراً فَتَبِعَهُ حَتَّى سَقَطَ عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَأَخَذَهُ فَقَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) لِلْعَيْنِ مَا رَأَتْ وَ لِلْيَدِ مَا أَخَذَتْ .
